Family Maternity Shoot With Fionboon Photography

🥳 ~ Second blog post of the year ~ 🥳

With a series of VERY BEAUTIFUL shots of my Family Maternity Shoot with @fionboonphotography 📸, following up from the previous sharing of my Boudoir Maternity Shoot (link here).

As I mentioned in my previous sharing that I've taken my maternity shoots earlier this round cuz' my bump is MUCH larger plus I just wanted to be safe to make sure I get everything done before Baby J. arrives cuz' her 2nd Jie2 came a preemie. So by 31 weeks I was already ready for my shoot, and not that tired to do two shoots!!

Typically maternity shoots are taken from week 30-35, depending on the size of Mummy’s bump, and if you’re carrying one or two babies. I had my photos taken for my No.1 at around 36w cuz’ I wasn’t showing much then, and for No.2 was about 34w. This round No.3 is growing like no body’s business so at week 31 I was already huge!

Anyways both my maternity shoots with Fionboon Photography went smoothly and the photos turned out great~!! Frankly speaking out of all the 3 times I shot for maternity for my 3 pregnancies, I'm loving the photos this round most... I’m SOOOO HAPPY & in love!! 😍 Not paid to share/show my photos and defo not a paid advertorial but b’cuz I’m so in love with the photos I decided to share them with you guys. Hope you like them too!

Typically the maternity shoot would take about 2 to 3 hours in total if you're gonna have your make up done at the studio. The shoot itself takes about 1 to 1.5 hours and the makeup another 1 to 1.5 hours. The photoshoot was done at Fionboon Photography’s home-studio located at Compassvale and is run by a couple team. Fion and Elmer were really nice and friendly to work with. I first did a Boudoir Maternity Shoot with this couple then subsequently brought my kids & Hubby over later that week for a Family Maternity Shoot (link for Boudoir Shoot here). Really glad my kids were some what good that day so everything went pretty smoothly! And I'm REALLY happy with the photos from both shoots. Thanks Fion & Elmer!!

Boudoir Maternity Photo Shoot By Fionboon Photography

🄷🄰🄿🄿🅈 2020!! 🥳

Kick starting my blog this year with a series of VERY BEAUTIFUL shots of my 𝐵𝑜𝓊𝒹𝑜𝒾𝓇 𝑀𝒶𝓉𝑒𝓇𝓃𝒾𝓉𝓎 𝒮𝒽𝑜𝑜𝓉 with @fionboonphotography 📸

Months ago I did a poll on my IG asking my followers what style of maternity shoot should I try this round, soooo many Mummies asked me to try out Boudoir style. At first I thought most of them are just joking with me, asking me to shoot naked.. haha 😆 Then after some thoughts I decided to give it a try since it’s my last pregnancy.

I defo have NO REGRETs choosing this style of shoot cuz’ it’s:

1️⃣something uncommon (𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘮𝘮𝘢’ 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳).. I’ve done Underwater Maternity shoot for my first (link here), so I wanted to try something unique for my last too!

2️⃣looking at the photos always makes me feel so connected, b’cuz everything is just so raw and so precious - juz like how pregnancy is supposed to be!

3️⃣and I’ll always have exact memories of my last pregnancy; how I look back 20 years later and be wow-ed by myself. 🤣🤣 #PregnancyGlow !! ✨

As we step into 2020, am a little over 34 weeks into my pregnancy journey.. a week or so short from how Jie2 Hope popped at around 35 weeks. Getting anxious as the date nears but am hoping for Baby J. to come by at the safe zone. 🙏 So this round I decided to have my maternity photos professionally taken earlier to avoid missing any of my shoots!! ‘Cuz hor last round I missed out 2 paid shoots leh! Wasted! Else me and Hope (in my belly) would have been on ads for Mama Maternity Milk! 😝

But my maternity photos turned out I’m SOOOO HAPPY & in love!! 😍 I’m not paid to share/show my photos and defo not a paid advertorial but b’cuz I’m so in love with the photos I decided to share some of the beautifully & tastefully captured Boudoir shots by Fionboon Photography. Hope you like them too!

If you’re shy and all, really won’t have to cuz’ Fion & Elmer are very professional and Fion helps to cover up Mummies in between shots/poses.
