Beauty Brand Review Part 2_SkinCeuticals_The Best Antioxidant Skincare Brand

Hi lovelies, if you remembered months back I shared about this top-notch skincare brand, SkinCeuticals, which is a brand that carries advanced skincare products backed by science and their mission is to help improve skin health. Their skincare products are made in USA and are clinically proven to perform and deliver results. If you haven’t heard of SkinCeuticals are wondering why their products are so effective, that’s because SkinCeuticals’ products are formulated by scientists after years of skin research. SkinCeuticals’ products are also mainly used by dermatologists, aesthetic doctors and media-spas for daily homecare purposes as well as to complement aesthetics procedures.

Today I would like to share more about SkinCeuticals' best-selling products from the antioxidant skincare range.

Let me introduce you to 5 products in their antioxidants category – 3 day serums, 1 gel and 1 night serum. The day serums are C E Ferulic, Phloretin CF, Phloretin CF Gel and Serum 10, while the night serum is the Resveratrol B E. The different antioxidant serums are catered for different skin types and needs based on the ingredients that they are formulated with.

Each of these antioxidants from SkinCeuticals have been proven to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and improve skin laxity, and by neutralizing free radicals and stimulating collagen production. Right now I am using the Serum 10 as my day prevention serum. It combines 10% L-ascorbic acid (also known as pure Vitamin C) with Ferulic Acid to provide antioxidant and anti-aging benefits.

• Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, through neutralising free radicals this defending against environmental damage
• Deliver pure Vitamin C to the skin in concentrations shown to be effective for skin healing

For night use I am using Resveratrol B E for repair. This is a concentrated night time antioxidant with pure resveratrol to reveal visible radiance and firmness the next morning.

• Neutralize free radicals and strengthens skin’s natural antioxidant defenses,
• Diminish visible signs of aging,
• For those with normal, dry, combination or sensitive skin, this product is great for you!

My daily regimen in the day
1. CLEANSE & TONE.
2. PREVENT WITH Serum 10 (protective antioxidant).
3. CORRECT (hydration serum).
4. MOISTURIZE (moisturizer).
5. PROTECT (sunblock).

In the morning after cleansing, apply 4-5 drops to a dry face, neck and chest. I complete my skincare regimen with a SkinCeuticals sunscreen. When used together, SkinCeuticals antioxidants and sunscreens provide the most complete protection against visible aging caused by environmental aggressors such as pollution and the sun’s harmful rays.

The Serum 10 has a watery consistency which is light and fast-absorbent for day use. Use it after cleansing and before thicker serums and/or moisturizer then finally top with a sunscreen for total protection. The Serum 10 has a slight coffee scent to it, totally perks me up in the mornings.

Did you know? Anything that emits light and/or heat gives off UV rays and radiation (I didn't!!)? I've shared this in my last post before but have to share it again b'cuz I think it's something not alot of us are aware of! In short, it means that its essential to protect your skin even though you are largely indoors and even at night. I bet most of you didn't know that right? 

My daily regimen at night

2. PREVENT WITH Resveratrol B E (repairing antioxidant).
3. CORRECT (hydration serum).
3.1. CORRECT (pigmentation corrector).
4. MOISTURIZE (moisturizer).

In the evening after cleansing, apply 2-3 pumps to a dry face, neck and chest. The Resveratrol B E helps repair my skin at night and prevent accumulated damage, letting me wake up with firm and radiant skin.

The Resveratrol B E antioxidant night concentrate is thicker compared to the Serum 10 and has a gel-like texture. The scent is really light and slightly citrusy which is calming to use and again very fast absorbent. After cleansing I use this night antioxidant followed by my hydration serum and a moisturiser, my skin feels well hydrated and supple, all ready for the night. When I get up from bed, my skin still feels supple without being oily and that's something I really like about. 

I've been using skincare products from SkinCeuticals for months now and my experience with them has been great so far! Everything just feels so luxurious when applied to my face and I feel so pampered with every use. Definitely looking forward to greater skin with SkinCeuticals!
