Beauty Review_Laser Skin Rejuvenation Treatment With ONLY Clinic

Happy New Year everyone! Writing my first blog post of the year which is long over-due from last November. Was at O Medical Clinic before my pre-judging and grand finals for the pageant to try out the Laser Skin Rejuvenation Treatment. O Medical Clinic is a flagship medical laser and aesthetics clinic of the ONLY Group. I think perhaps many of you would have heard of ONLY Aesthetics in the past which is also part of the ONLY Group.

You can find treatments like painless hair removals, cosmetic dermatology treatments, body slimming and contouring treatments here at O Medical Clinic. Doctors here are professionally certified and medically trained aestheticians so you know you'd be in safe hands.

It was my first time visiting O Medical Clinic and also my first time trying out their Laser Skin Rejuvenation Treatment. It was a weekday morning and it seemed quite quiet at that time, there was probably only one or two customers before me which is just the way I like my beauty visits to be - quiet and personal. 

The clinic was clean and aesthetically-pleasing, as of most aesthetic clinics. 

And their staff was attentive and friendly when I stepped into their doors as I was greeted at the reception area.

I was asked to fill up a form of my personal details and then did a quick consultation with the skin specialist to provide details of the treatment to be done and was taken to the treatment room.

This was one of the VIP rooms available at the Wheelock branch. It is alot bigger than the other common treatment rooms. It had a mini massage chair, treatment bed, TV and sink, and the room was spacious to move about.

The room was really bright when the curtains were drawn, you'd get to have a nice view of the back of Wheelock Place.

Was waiting for my treatment to begin so why not a selfie first?

Or maybe two? LOLs. On my usual days when I don't have any events or meetings to attend, I'll usually be in casuals and without makeup. I prefer to let me skin breathe 'cuz somehow after I delivered baby no. 1 I tend to get break outs very easily. Like VERY easily, its annoying. And the thing about having breakouts is that it tends to leave pimple/acne scars and take a long time to fade. So I was excited to try out the Laser Skin Rejuvenation Treatment hoping to blast off all the marks on my face.

As the laser I did was a non-medical and non-invasive kind of laser, it was performed by a skin specialist instead of the aesthetician. B'cuz it was non-invasive and mild, it meant that I wouldn't have leave the clinic with reddish skin or have any downtime at all. The Laser Skin Rejuvenation Treatment is actually very popular among OLs (Office Ladies) who come during lunch time or after work b'cuz the treatment is done in like 30 minutes. And really no down time at all so you can practically do it whenever you need a brightening boost or even just a day before your event/s.

The Treatment Process
1. A cold gel was layered onto my face to prep skin for the laser,
2. Eyes were then protected by cotton pads & eye mask,
3. Skin specialist blasts the laser all over my face,
4. Face was cleansed and calming lotion was applied as last step of the treatment.
5. What you see in this picture above was an extra step to the laser treatment - a gel mask was applied to my face and UV light was shone to help with calming and recovery of skin. Not that my skin was burnt or anything, this was just an extra step to "double ensure" the calming effect of the mask.

The whole process was really quick and simple - no pain, no down time and nothing to worry about. Just come for the treatment, and go back with brighter looking skin. I was also advised that with more treatments, I could expect the marks on my face to lighten much more and also that my pores would tighten over time. Yays to that! This was practically just a week away from pre-judging when I came by for the Laser Skin Rejuvenation Treatment and of course it was safe & mild enough to be done right before my important day. 

So this was a few days after the Laser Skin Rejuvenation Treatment, coupled with all the other beauty treatment I received during the period before the pre-judging and grand finals for my pageant - my skin def looked like it was all ready for the big day!
