Beauty Product Review: Winter Organics 2016 New Products Line_100% Natural and Suitable for Pregnant and Breastfeeding Mummies

Winter Organics is a skincare brand committed to provide users with products that are organic, chemical-free and made 100% from natural ingredients. Besides being au naturale, Winter Organics formulations are gentle on the skin, environmentally friendly and cruelty-free.

Last year I did a beauty review for Winter Organics sharing their first launched product; Winter Organics Camomile Facial Cleanser (click here for the review). It has since been a part of my basic skin care regimen which is essential to keep my sensitive skin clean, hydrated and radiant.

Key Ingredients of Calendula Shower Gel

 Calendula Extract  Rooibos Extract  Vetiver

• These ingredients are gentle on the skin with moisturising properties. Beneficial for allergy prone and sensitive skin.
• High level of anti-oxidants to counteract the effects of premature aging. It's anti-viral, anti-fungal, and antibacterial properties makes it perfect for acne, eczema, psoriasis, and other skin conditions.
• Anti-septic and moisturising properties to protect skin.

What I love about this product?

- The Light Floral Scent

The scent from the Calendula Shower Gel is really really mild, yet feels refreshing and calming. I like that the light floral scent feels a little spa-ish.

- Gentle on sensitive skin
Calendula Shower Gel is pH5 formulated which is suitable for all skin types and even sensitive skin. Even though the shower gel feels very light when using, it leaves my skin feeling smooth and not tight/dry after use. 

Key Ingredients of Macadamia Hand & Body Lotion

 Macadamia Nut Milk/ Oil  Tocopherol  Chamomile Flower Extract

• Rich in Vitamin E. Improves the appearance of scars, helps with sunburn and other skin irritation. Promotes skin elasticity, youthful appearance and restore skin’s barrier function.
• Natural antioxidant which is rich in Vitamin E that promotes cell renewal, skin elasticity and help prevent the signs of ageing.
• Anti-inflammatory and soothing, beneficial for allergy prone and sensitive skin.

What I love about this product?

- Yummy-licious Macadamia Scent

The scent from the Macadamia Hand & Body Lotion is buttery & nutty, yet not overpowering. It smells so good I feel like drinking it, 'cuz I find it smells rather similar to the Almond Milk I used to take - haha. The scent is very distinct but quickly fades as the lotion is absorbed into the skin.

- Rich & Moisturising

The Macadamia Hand & Body Lotion is slightly thicker in texture compared to over-the-counter brands like Nivea and is IMO comparable in texture to Jergens. Even though the texture was slightly toward the thicker side, the lotion quickly absorbed into my skin without feeling sticky at all.

- Smooth & Silky Skin


After using the Macadamia Hand & Body Lotion, my skin feels smooth and silky like having a thin layer of veil over my skin. It felt really nice and smooth - love it!

Key Ingredients of Cacao Facial Scrub

 Cacao  Olive Squalane  Papaya Extract

• Cacao is a natural beauty superfood. With high levels of antioxidants, Vitamin C, E, magnesium and antioxidants, it enhances cellular regeneration to develop a healthy glow and clear skin.
• Derived from olives, it is similar to our skin own molecular structure. It's biocompatibility allows it to penetrate all layers of skin for hydration, rejuvenation and nourishment of our skin.
• Enzymes have exfoliating properties to remove dead and damaged skin. Improves tone and texture of skin.

What I love about this product?

- Super Yummy-licious Cacao Scent

Again, another super super yummy scented product. The scent from the Cacao Facial Scrub reminds me totally of Tiramisu or Baileys, both my fav! so I'm totally intoxicated by the scent (don't worry there's no alcohol in it) - LOL! 

- Spreadable & Great in Texture

The Cacao Facial Scrub IMO has a very nice texture which I really like. It is not too watery that it drips everywhere nor too thick that it gets difficult to use. The texture's just great for massaging onto my face without feeling harsh.

Zero chemicals = good start to a healthy well-being. And b'cuz products from Winter Organics are 100% natural & chemical-free, it is also suitable for pregnant ladies and breastfeeding Mummies!! Yays! ; )

For an animal lover, this was definitely an eye-catcher and motivation to continue my support for Winter Organics. Products from Winter Organics are certified cruelty free and vegan under People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
