My hubby & I have been wanting to have Peking Duck for quite some time already but have not had the chance to do so. Recently saw this Groupon deal online that promotes discount coupon for dining at TungLok XiHe Peking Duck @ Orchard Central and thought, why not?
Reservations are needed to dine & utilize coupons, and it is recommended to pre-order the ducks as it would take 50 minutes to prepare if ordered on the day itself.

We were seated beside the glass area that allows alot of natural light to shine in, love the ambience and def good lighting for photo taking. :)

This is their Hot & Sour Soup with Chrysanthemum Tofu.
Though it looked bland/plain, but the taste is rather interesting. I loved the soup!
It is light, clear, has an interesting combination of sour yet spicy taste which reminded me of salted veggie soup which had some sour tang to it. My Hubby didn't appreciate the taste as much as I did, his palate got confused - he kept tasting the sour as salty. Lol. Try it!

Would go back again but then the only drawback was that the duck is only served as a whole, so for 2 people it was way too much. We had to do take-away for the rest of the duck meat together with the second stir fry of the bones. Go get the Groupon voucher, its alot more worth with the discount! Overall discount we had using the voucher was around 35% off. So it's pretty much worth while for the price to get such a fix. :)
While stocks last (?). This was #throwback #lastFriday, so I would think the deal is still on. Happy feasting! ;)
